The Dalai Lama will speak at two public events during his visit to Oahu: one for high school, college and university students, and the other for the general public. Both events will take place at the Stan Sheriff Center on the University of Hawaii campus at Manoa.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will speak directly to high school, college and university students to encourage compassionate and responsible behavior and inspire them to create a better future.
Doors open at 11:00 a.m.
Please arrive early due to expected traffic and parking delays, and mandatory security measures. Event entertainment begins at noon.
Tickets are available to current college and university students with proper identification for $10 per person. Limit of two tickets per person/purchase. Sorry, no refunds.
A limited number of tickets for Oahu public and private high school students will be distributed by participating schools.
VALID HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY STUDENT ID as well as ticket are REQUIRED FOR ENTRY

The Dalai Lama will speak to the people of Hawaii about the role of peace and compassion in daily life. This event is open to the general public.

Tickets will be available for online purchasing through this website starting Wednesday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. (HAST).
Tickets will also be available for purchase in person at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Stan Sheriff Center ticket office beginning Thursday, February 23 during their normal hours of operation (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. HAST, Monday through Friday).
